MapMobility Corp. is a Canadian map company, which is well known for its MapArt brand. In cooperation with our Canadian partner DM Solutions Group, Inc., Orkney helped to implement PostLBS functionality for their web mapping site. Orkney's part was to deliver a custom routing and geocoding solution.

Mapion
"Mapion" is a map based web search service for Japan provided by Mapion, Inc. For the service renewal on April 22nd, 2009, Orkney provided technical support and development such as:
- Technical advisory service on selecting the best tool for map design;
... the requirement to provide a scalable, flexible and detailed map design being able to make use of a variety of data sources lead to the decision for open source and MapServer. - MapServer source improvements:
... source code changes to improve MapServer rendering and achieve a unique map style for Japan. - Technical expertise in map rendering:

Yokohamap
"Konan-ku life support map" is a service of Yokohama city and Konan ward for their residents to inform about public facilities and infrastructure. It makes use of a high resolution aerial photo and each facility information links to additional web sites. The system uses ka-Map as the map client framework, and on the server PostGIS / PostgreSQL to store geospatial information in a database.
